North Little Rock Wastewater

Frequently Asked Questions

  •  It costs more to clean wastewater than it does to bring fresh water from the City’s water supply to your home.

  • A minimum fee is charged regardless of water usage.  (For full information regarding current rates (City of North Little Rock Ordinance #9432.)

  • A permit must be secured by either a homeowner who lives in the house and is doing the service line work or by a Master Plumber. Once the permit is secured, the homeowner or the Master Plumber contacts our Engineering Department to determine the point of connection for the service line, installs the pipe in accordance with our specifications, schedules the line for inspection by Utility personnel, and, after receiving approval from the inspector, buries the pipe. Call (501) 945-7186 to request a permit and to reach the Engineering Department.

  • Permits can be acquired at the Faulkner Lake Treatment Facility Engineering Building located at 7400 Baucum Pike. Use Gate 1 and follow the directions on the call box to enter the facility.
