NLRW works hard to maintain the health and safety of the community by employing advanced, cost-effective methods of reclaiming wastewater and maintaining the public sewer system. The rates our customers pay are essential in funding these vital services.

Cooperation with Central Arkansas Water
Central Arkansas Water (CAW) bills for many of the wastewater utilities in the area, including North Little Rock Wastewater (NLRW). They can be reached at (501) 372-5161 or https://carkw.com/contact/.

Average Winter Consumption
For residential customers with water meters smaller than one inch, NLRW charges based on average winter consumption (AWC). A customer’s AWC is the average amount of water the customer consumes October through March. Customers who were not on a meter during the previous October–March are charged based on their actual water usage.

Rates
In order to continue operating and maintaining the wastewater system in the way our customers and our community deserve, NLRW received approval from North Little Rock City Council to implement a series of rate increases from 2022 to 2026, as outlined in Ordinance 9432.

Our base rate, where CF means "cubic feet", is:

For example, if a customer uses 523 CF of water, they will be charged $20.90+$6.53*(523 - 400)/100=$28.93.
