Strengthening Community Connections Through Wastewater Service in North Little Rock

At the North Little Rock Wastewater Utility, our mission goes beyond maintaining pipes and sewer lines. While much of our work in wastewater management and public infrastructure happens behind the scenes, our commitment to serving the community of North Little Rock remains at the forefront of everything we do.

Every day, our dedicated staff works to ensure that wastewater services, sewer systems, and water quality protections operate efficiently for homes, businesses, and organizations throughout our service area. From assisting residents with service inquiries to coordinating communication between departments and field teams, our employees help maintain the smooth operation of the essential infrastructure that protects public health and the environment.

Clear communication and accessibility are key components of effective municipal wastewater management, and our administrative teams play an important role in connecting the public with the right resources across our Utility sites. Whether responding to questions about wastewater services, helping customers navigate service requests, or sharing educational resources about our sewer system, our staff works every day to ensure residents stay informed.

However, our commitment to the community extends well beyond our offices and treatment facilities.

Leadership from the North Little Rock Wastewater Utility regularly participates in local networking events, civic initiatives, and community partnerships that strengthen relationships across our city. By staying engaged with local organizations and business leaders, we help raise awareness about the importance of wastewater treatment, water quality protection, and sustainable infrastructure planning.

Recently, members of our team attended the 41st Annual Meeting hosted by the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce at the new North Little Rock Event Center in the heart of Argenta. As a proud sponsor, our team had the opportunity to connect with fellow community leaders, local businesses, and public service organizations who share a common goal - supporting the continued growth and development of North Little Rock.

Events like this allow us to engage in important conversations about community infrastructure, environmental stewardship, economic growth, and the essential role wastewater utilities play in protecting our waterways. They also provide valuable opportunities to educate the public about the complex systems that support everyday life - from sewer collection systems to advanced wastewater treatment processes.

At North Little Rock Wastewater Utility, we believe strong community partnerships are just as important as strong infrastructure. By remaining active in the community and continuing to share information about the critical work we do, we help residents better understand how wastewater treatment, sewer maintenance, and environmental protection contribute to a cleaner, healthier city.

We are proud to serve the people of North Little Rock through reliable wastewater services and meaningful community engagement. As our city continues to grow, we remain committed to building lasting relationships, improving public infrastructure, and protecting the waterways that make our community a great place to live and work.
