CCTV Crew Assistant

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Full-Time Position, Pay Grade 7
Salary: $20.75/hour – $32.20/hour
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday and be available after-hours as needed
Positions Supervised: CCTV Crew (in absence of Crew Leader)
Position Summary:
The CCTV Crew Assistant supports the CCTV Crew Leader by assisting with CCTV equipment, line inspections, safety devices, manhole inventories, and job-site operations.

Essential Functions:
Follow the instructions of the Crew Leader or Supervisor to complete work orders.
Assist in loading and unloading equipment at the job site and at the shop.
Assist in operating camera and computer systems to inspect lines.
Assist the crew in erecting safety devices according to traffic regulations.
Comply with safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Clean all tools and equipment and return them to their proper place.
Supervise the crew and perform CCTV inspections in the absence of the Crew Leader.
Undertake any reasonable request within capability that is good for the community and NLRW.
Perform other job duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to enter data on a computer and assist in operating camera and computer systems.
Ability to learn the use of applicable software.
Ability to operate CTTV inspection equipment.
Ability to complete and verify manhole inventories.
Ability to read and interpret meters.
Ability to accurately document work performed.
Ability to obtain NASSCO PACP certification.
Ability to accurately document work performed using CityWorks.
Ability to lift 125 pounds.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
Must have a valid Arkansas Driver’s License
Experience:
Prior related training and/or work experience will be evaluated for length and quality. Applicants whose training and/or experience best relates to the position will be given first consideration.
Other Requirements:
Ability to lift over 100 pounds frequently and to bend, squat, stoop, stretch, reach, grasp, crawl, climb, push, and pull.
Must be able to see, hear and speak, smell, and wear all appropriate PPE (shoes, goggles, masks, and gloves).
Must be able to withstand the sight and smell of raw sewage.
Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Must be able to travel over uneven surfaces.
Position not eligible for remote work.
